Sketch for a commission for a recreation-area in Slijk-Ewijk, Holland. The work is roughly based on a photo of the remains of a Roman bathhouse. Slijk-Ewijk is situated on the former nothern border of the Roman empire. On the spot there is a lot of water-recreation and the work reflects and connects with the history and water-recreation 2000 years ago. Inside the work is a small pool and a stairs leading to the slide. On the roof a solarpanel with battery is installed. During the day the battery will be charged and at night the electricity will lit led-lighting inside the pavilion.
